Meet the Orthodontist

They are proud to call Fort Worth home. Having grown up in Temple, Texas, Dr. David Mikulencak quickly fell in love with Fort Worth while attending and graduating from Texas Christian University. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry, earning his D.D.S. Following dental school, Dr. Mik completed a General Practice Residency at Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis; he was then accepted into the Orthodontic Residency at Saint Louis University. After completion of his 30-month residency program, where he was President of his class, Dr. Mik and his family were excited to return to Fort Worth to raise their family.

Dr. Mik met his beautiful wife, Megan, while both were students at TCU. They have been busy raising their two daughters, Campbell and Kate. Campbell was born in Saint Louis in September 2005 and Kate, more recently, in January 2008. When not playing at home with his wife and children, Dr. Mik can be found on the golf course.

Dr. Mik was recently named a "Top Orthodontist" by his colleagues in the August 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 issues of the Fort Worth Magazine, and a "Texas Super Dentist" in the 2008, 2009, and 2010 issues of Texas Monthly  He is actively involved with Fort Worth District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southwest Society of Orthodontists, "Give Kids a Smile" program, Bible Study Fellowship, and Christ Chapel Bible Church.
